Turbiville Electric is a complete control panel solutions provider. We can work to develop a concept, specify sensors and other ancillary components, design and build a control panel, program the PLC and HMI. Our specialty is in helping to define the requirements then working with the customer during the machine or process design. From a single motor starter to multiple panel systems, we have the experience and knowledge to do the job.
Our flagship PLC since 1985 has been Toshiba, but we have worked with other makes and have over 25 years experience with PLC and HMI programming. We maintain computers and software to support Toshiba PLC’s dating back over 30 years.
Control panels are constructed by experienced technicians and diagrams are made using CAD software and plotted up to “D” size.
Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) automatic control with an Allen Bradley PLC, in a stainless steel enclosure for use in a cheese factory.
Wires are color coded and/or permanently labeled.
Automatic batch flocculent treatment control with a Toshiba PLC was built for use in Canada.
Terminal block and all components are permanently labeled.
We give careful consideration to operator control layout, to give a logical user interface.
Large touchscreen HMI used with a Toshiba PLC and as a bridge for Modbus RTU data from current sensors. The system used distributed DeviceNet I/O (two DeviceNet units are shown here) communicating via a DeviceNet scanner card mounted in the Toshiba PLC. The system also used a proprietary ASCII communication from a second PLC port to control two variable power supplies. All control design, programming and network configuration was done by Turbiville Electric engineers.
Automatic jug filling machine with sequencing and weight control using a Toshiba PLC and AFE DataPanel HMI.
Continuous flow biological water treatment control using a GE PLC and industrial computer was built for use at a dairy farm. In this case, programming was done by the machinery manufacturer.
Recognized internationally as the leader in the electrical and mechanical apparatus sales, service and repair industry, EASA provides an ongoing flow of industry information and education that helps members worldwide serve as total solution providers for electrical and mechanical equipment and systems.
